HAIR IS TRIMMED FROM THE ELEPHANT'S TAIL WHEN IT BECOMES TOO LONG. THE ELEPHANTS ARE NOT HARMED IN ANY WAY DURING THIS PROCESS. ELEPHANT TAIL HAIR IS BECOMING MORE AND MORE DIFFICULT TO FIND.
